Mounir Koussa is a co-founder and the VP, R&D at Vital Bio which is democratizing health testing by bringing routine lab tests to where and when they are needed. Vital Bio is Mounir’s second company and he brings to it core assets that he developed at his first company Confer Health which Mounir spun out of his PhD at Harvard where he was developing nano-scale tools for single-molecule force spectroscopy, which he later converted into a platform for affordable, low-complexity, and high sensitivity protein detection.
