Mara Lederman biography
Mara is COO of Signal 1. Mara has served as a Professor of Strategy at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Mara has deep expertise in the economics of platform businesses, the economics of innovation and start-up commercialization strategy. Prior to launching Signal 1, Mara led the Toronto site of the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), a world-leading mentorship program for massively-scalable science and technology based start-ups, and led a significant expansion of CDL-Toronto’s footprint into new areas, including launching its three health-related streams. Mara has a PhD in Economics from MIT.
