Elvis Wianda biography
Elvis has a BSc in Biochemistry, MSc in Electrical & Computer Engineering, and is now culminating his PhD thesis in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto.
His research focused on signal processing of multi-dimensional neuroimaging data from Electroencephalography (EEG), Magnetoencephalography (MEG) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He has successfully developed cutting-edge software algorithms and statistical tools for improving time-series analyses of signal detection. He also completed his MSc thesis in ultrasound sensor programming.
He is also skilled in front-end development having single-handedly designed, coded and launched the new Life Science Career Development Society (WWW.LSCDS.ORG) website and built a graphical user interface (GUI) for MEG.
