Peripheral
Peripheral is on a mission to bring spatial intelligence to live media — using robotics-grade perception to transform multi-camera arenas into real-time, photorealistic 3D environments.
About Peripheral
Peripheral is building the spatial intelligence layer for live media. Founded in Toronto in 2024 by Kelvin Cui and Mustafa Khan, the company deploys camera systems in professional sports arenas and applies advanced 3D reconstruction to create real-time digital twins of live events. Its technology — rooted in autonomous vehicle perception research — enables interactive browser-based replays, immersive fan experiences, and high-fidelity player and ball tracking at arena scale. A member of the NBA Launchpad 2026 cohort, Peripheral is working with the NBA on the future of basketball officiating, injury prevention, and interactive media. The company raised a $3.6M Seed round led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Daybreak Capital Partners, Entrepreneurs First, and Transpose Platform Management.
