Karamdeep has over 15 years of experience in software development and investing, specializing in B2B software and emerging technologies. He joined Inovia Capital in January 2010 and focuses on leading venture stage investments. His work over the last fourteen years has laid the groundwork for much of Inovia Capital’s footprint in Toronto/K-W regions and the firm’s Discovery strategy.
Karam serves as a director or observer on the boards of Clearco, Fellow, Motion, Pine, ResQ, Street Context, Vidyard, and Vital. He also led or co-led Inovia’s investments in Clearpath Robotics (acquired by Rockwell), Triple Lift (acquired by Vista Equity),Rubikloud (acquired by Kinaxis), Well.ca (acquired by McKesson), Chango (acquired by Magnite) and BufferBox (acquired by Google).
Before Inovia Capital, Karam was a subject matter expert at the Royal Bank of Canada on cross enterprise software architecture initiatives. Karam holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Math and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
