Sophie Gu

Sophie is an Investment Analyst based in Toronto. After a five-month internship with the Growth team, she joined full-time in June 2026. She focuses on full-stack investing and AI enablement across investment processes.

Sophie previously gained internship experience across GP, LP, and investment banking roles, including at Altas Partners, BMO Capital Markets, and BCI Direct Private Equity. These experiences gave her exposure to Private Equity, Growth Equity and transaction execution across different parts of the investment ecosystem. She holds an Honours Mathematics degree with a minor in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
