Brian Etienne

Brian helps leaders across Inovia’s portfolio build and scale their companies through a combination of corporate strategy, partnerships and M&A.

Brian has 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, M&A, operations and change management. At McKinsey & Company he advised investors, corporations, and government agencies on a range of topics including buy- and sell-side transaction support, strategy, digital transformation, and change management. As an investor at Birch Hill Equity Partners Brian evaluated and executed buy- and sell- side transactions and supported management teams with strategy and corporate finance topics. He has also worked in a Y Combinator-backed media startup and for the Government of Canada.

Brian holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and undergraduate degrees in Finance (BCom) and Economics (BA) from the University of Calgary.
