Samuel Poirier biography
Sam is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mercantile and a serial entrepreneur. At 18, he co-founded the world’s first Bitcoin debit card, which merged with Mt.Gox, and he co-founded Retinad VR, which was successfully acquired in 2017.
In 2021, Sam co-founded Mercantile and has raised over $22M to build industry-tailored SMB Credit Cards.
Sam is a recipient of the Peter Thiel Fellowship and the Goldman Sachs Most Intriguing Entrepreneur Award.
