Brett Huneycutt biography
Brett is the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Wealthsimple, a leading financial technology company operating in Canada. Wealthsimple launched in September 2014 as an automated investment manager and quickly established itself as a leader in Canada. Now, it supports 2.5 million Canadians across managed investing, do-it-yourself trading, cryptocurrency, spending, saving and tax filing, and has grown to manage $18+ billion in assets under administration.
Previously, Brett co-founded the Y Combinator startup 1000memories, which was acquired by Ancestry.com in 2012. He began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York and Mexico City.
Brett holds a Masters in Economics with Distinction from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and an Economics and Math degree from Boston College.
