Roger is an entrepreneur with a 20 year background in wireless and semiconductor product development. His main interests are in working with start-up or established companies developing new technologies or applications. In 1998 Roger co-founded SiWorks, a wireless semiconductor Intellectual Property (IP) provider specializing in WiMax technology. In 2005, SiWorks was acquired by Cygnus Communications, a WiMax fabless semiconductor company. Cygnus was subsequently acquired by Nextwave Wireless. Roger was also one of the original founders of Dynastream Inc. (www.dynastream.com) a leader in the development of novel wireless and inertial technologies which was acquired by Garmin in 2006. Roger also previously worked at the Telecommunications Design Center of Philips Semiconductor in Zurich, Switzerland and with Novatel Wireless.
