Thalmic Labs is now North. The company is building a future where technology is human-centric, discreetly built into fundamental parts of our lives that already exist. North believes that the relationship between people and technology shouldn’t be an “either, or” — it should be a powerful partnership, because together they are much greater than either one alone.

Notre histoire :
North sat in the same office space previously occupied by Vidyard and BufferBox at UW Velocity (so the karma was strong on this one going in). Karam was introduced to them in early 2013 by Mike Litt, but we couldn’t get our act together quick enough to lock in an investment before their record-breaking crowdfunding campaign for the Myo armband and subsequent Series A. After watching the team continue to develop and execute at a ridiculously high level, we finally managed to make an investment in early 2016.
