Mathieu Lavoie biography
Mathieu Lavoie is co-founder and CTO of Flare. Mathieu has been around cybersecurity even before he obtained his B.Eng. from the ÉTS. He managed the offensive security team in a large financial institution for 3 years and he was also a strategic advisor for senior executives regarding cybersecurity and Blockchain. He spoke at security conferences such as HOPE, Hackfest and NorthSec about his open-source Bitcoin forensic tool called Bitcluster.
Mathieu brings the knowledge of the real world application of cybersecurity technologies. His experience managing the security operations at financial institutions has intimate knowledge of the users’ needs and leads the strategic direction of the company.
